Where Music Leads Poem by William McGehee

Where Music Leads

Always follow music if you hear it
For the easing of the mind or the caliming of the spirit.
Do not fear the narrow twists or bends.
Just listen close, you'll find the music at the end.
Through shadows long or deep in ally ways
Small notes will sound, and calling out to strays
Will lead them through to hidden hallowed truth
Unbound by age and nurished in our youth.
