Where's My Romeo? Poem by Brianna Wilshusen

Where's My Romeo?

I had a life,
I had a man.
I had a ring,
I had love.
I had a future,
I had a heart.
I wanted him,
I needed him.
Married to be,
That was we.

I left him,
I know not why.
Now I have nothing.
No love,
No man.
No heart,
No hope.
No future,
No life.
No ring.

I want him back,
What am I to do.
I love him still,
Hurt him I want not.
I don't want to hurt him,
But I fear a lot.
My family hates him,
They won't let me see him.
His family is bad,
What does that mean of he?
No! He is good,
He loves me he does.
I love him,
I need him.
But my family can't know.
Romeo and Juliet.
Ours families hate each other,
He and I just love.
Please dear Romeo
Take me from here!
