Kamakhya Devi
The secret of Yoni worship,
The Tantric seat,
One of the shakti-pithas
Of the Nilachal hills,
By the Brahmaputra river
the seat of Ma Kamakhya.

The Nilachal
Or call them Kamagiri hills
Looking Blue
As for Mahadeva
Carrying the corpse of Sati
But the yoni fell it there
Turning the hills blue too.

During Ambuvaci
Fertility festival,
It is said
Goddess earth
Undergoes
Menstruation period
And the temple remains
Closed during the period.
