WHERE WERE YOU?

Where were you,
When your life said
“Disappointment all I endeavor end”?

Where were you,
What do you believe
When you saw your dreams
Were not to be realized
Even your most holy and pure
Most God-loving dreams?

Where were you
When the end came
And ‘no’ was the final word
You heard?

Where were you?
Were you where God
Needed you to be?

Or were you only in your own selfish dream still
Not understanding anything?
