WHERE WOULD I BE NOW/ WITHOUT THE JOY OF POSTING A MORNING POEM?

Where would I be now
Without the joy of posting a morning poem?
Where would I be
If I only had the blank page
Or the poem which I could not post anywhere?
The lines upon lines upon lines
Which I had to keep only to myself?
Where would I be
Had the world not opened before me
Even if only in a small way?

Where would I be without ‘Poemhunter Com’
Whatever this is?
Where would I be
Alone with my own lines
As I have been for so many years
Writing and writing
For only distant unknown readers
I wanted to listen to and praise me
Without my having to listen to them?
