Where were you when I needed you?
Thought you'll be with me till the very end.
All's lost as we live different lives.
Nowhere to find you as the affection subsides.

Yesterday seems a lot as we lived each day;
With your smile, the tears in my eyes were wiped away.
All those thoughts are memories now.
Recalling those times makes me feel so down.

Time goes on as it slowly changes.
'Friends forever.' The words are now meaningless.
People thought I've recovered from this heartache
But it's still bothering me right this very moment.

Where were you when I needed you?
This question is still running in my mind.
Never would I seek your company again
For it'll only hurt my feelings deep inside.
