Where Will I Go Today? What Will I Do? Poem by Shalom Freedman

Where Will I Go Today? What Will I Do?

WHERE WILL I GO TODAY? WHAT WILL I DO?

Where will I go today? What will I do?
I would like to set out again-
I would like to make a new beginning-
But where? And how?

I can walk in calm easily-
I can go at my own pace and leisure-
But I want a mission a goal
I do not want to walk just to walk-
I want to have somewhere I really need to go-

Old is old and empty is old and sad is old
When one has nowhere really to go.
