Where You Going Honey Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

Where You Going Honey

Where you going honey don't you like the way I kiss you babe
Where you going honey don't you like the way I kiss you babe
Where you going honey
I think it's funny
How I'm out money and goodbye is all you want to do babe

Said you love me but I guess it really wasn't true
Said you love me but I guess it really wasn't true
People are your nice
When you've got the ice
But when your broke they act like they don't know you it's so uncool

Where you going honey don't you like the song I sing
Where you going honey don't you like the song I sing
They say you can't buy love
But I don't see many turtle doves
Hanging out with a poor man when he's got a broken wing

Art, pretty cool rendition of the blues. I like the last two lines quite a bit. 2nd stanza, third line, makes no sense. if you have time, check out my new website: jeffersoncarterverse.com Tell me how you like it, and, if you do, perhaps share it with interested friends? Thanks! Yrs, JC
