While we are on a boat
in waterways of VENICE
You recited a haiku
that sounded like a song of cuckoo
I didn't understand a word of it
because I don't know JAPANESE!

While you wereswimming
in blue waters of MAURITIUS
I was just sitting on the shore
and watching you swim like a mermaid
because I don't know swimming!

While we are eating PIZZA
in an Italian restaurant at Rome
you smiled beautifully in LATIN
I didn't understand the single syllable of it
because I don't know LATIN!

While we are taking Chinese noodles
in a restaurant in HONG KONG
you took the spoon & fork
but I taught you how to eat with bamboo sicks
because you don't the CHINESE smile & style!

While we were skating in Alps ice
I gave you a Swiss Kiss you blushed
I continued and continued you never refused
because we both know the art of KISSING!

You wanted to continue the HONEYMOON
with an AFRICAN SAFARI trip
Ifirmly refused the wild adventure
because I don't know how to fight Lions & Tigers!
