Whispering Prayer Poem by Laurie Hotchkiss Cassar

Whispering Prayer

Rating: 3.5

I stand upon the mountain
And hear your whispers in the wind
Time, as known is standing still
Please hold me deep within

To you my Lord in heaven
I claim a noble plea
I have chosen to walk beside you
Will you in turn walk with me?

This battered soul is aching
To be taken under wings
Of one who knows lifes trials
And knows of better things

Please take my sorted life
And do with it what you may
For no one else can truly know
Or could ever guide my way.
