Whispers Poem by kobby godgift

Whispers

Like a breeze through the night,
whispers
Like a shooting star across the sky,
whispers
Movement as stealthy as a lion for its prey,
whispers
Ears as large as a rabbit's not needed to hear them,
whispers
Yet the alertness of an owl can sometimes not earn you an inkling,
whispers
And yet each is important in its own way, made for its own perfect cause,
whispers
As if they had a preternatural power of their own,
whispers
Almost always travel to the place they are meant to be,
whispers
Almost always reach the blessed ear that must bear them.
