At early dawn,
I rose from my slumber
And swung open
The garden gate.
I nestled down
Among the rows
Of plants
and watched them germinate.
Tendrals of Ivy,
Dewed Rose,
And Indian Corn.
All are growing,
This early morn.
There's Sunflower,
Tomatoe. Lime.
Lemon. Grape!
All are beyond
The garden gate
Each plant rustles
As it matures.
