Echo....murmured voices
In my head
In my head,
Mesmerising quiet whispers
Soothing....calming
No more dread.

The stillness all around
In my mind
In the wild,
Revives returns me
To the realm
Of being....simply child.

Tensions drift away
In this place
In the space
Where the torrent has receded
Gaze upon
The smoothened face.

Restful peaceful moments
In between
In this scene
Remind a wearied shaken soul
Of what can be,
What I have been....
