White And Tall Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

White And Tall

White and tall
The spire
To the immense heavens pointed
Around mid-night
A long, long Hand
Extended spire-wise
Slow
Slow
slow
with
the thumb pointed
hours it took to touch
but the touch was the spark
but the spark was First Lights
and the Dawn on its cusp.
