White Christmas Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

White Christmas

White Christmas

I live in place where
-Christmas must be white
-wished, wanted and gotten
-most of times; not always!

But this year is perfect.

Everywhere, everything
-is white and, most virgin.

Cold is air
-rain, snow, frozen.

The feel of being good
-smiling, giving help
-is with all; each person.

How I wish so it was
-forever, every day
-but sadly, is reverse…

Northbound I drove and a man
-was rush, felt demand
-worried, looked toward bus
-no trace, not in sight.
-I stopped,
-window down, let talk
-told him to jump inside…

Very poor was he in English
- "Which other language? "
-I questioned.

He lied and referred to a tongue which
-am excelled in reading and its writing.

Though hated kicked him out
-felt obliged to do what …
-I did and think my act
-what should have; as one must
-he had lied and liars, don't deserve our respect.
