White Secrets Poem by Mehreen Mujeeb

White Secrets

Rating: 5.0

Dark horse
In white light
Do the rays filter you pure?

In the opaque night
Your pupils gleam
The sunlight squints.

The galloping day
Isn't all you are.

When the watery prisms fall
You let go.

Only to hide back.

Into whiteness.
