White Tie Poem by Joe Howell

White Tie

Rating: 4.5

I am wearing a white tie
a black shirt
button down collar.

The tie is getting frayed
bought in the summer-1974.

You are wearing hip hugger jeans
a red blouse
sandals worn six months too long.

We walk due east
leaving the frame
sitting on the desk
next to the monitor.
