Who. Poem by Tohru Frost

Who.

Rating: 5.0

I am one, one who has power,
One who stands strong, one which will tower.
My place is Olympus, a mighty mountain feared by all,
My hunting bow, that which I call.
My dearest love, I must leave,
Her strong heart and will to believe.
In the end, a trick can kill,
A silver arrow will make her ill.
Shot in the heart, she missed my soul,
Just an accident, or so it’s been told.

I was a hero, once upon a time,
My life cut short, at the sound of a chime.
Artemis, my love,
Soon, to see you from above.
I leave you now, this day,
My memories of you never decay.

A God, maybe only Mythology…
I am Orion, the one and only.

You are a soul. You are peaceful and courageous. You have unlimited power with you. This is very true. Declaring self courage is very nice. You are definitely a hero. This poem is excellently penned.10

I like it! (of course, I am biased toward greek mythology) I suggest trying to keep the syllables in each line a bit more stable, it helps with flow. Then you can make lines stand out by making them longer or shorter.
