Who Am I? - Poem by Carson Creery

What do you see
When you look into my soul
I see some one who lost a loved one
I see a misunderstand lion
Ready to prance
Ready to roar
I’m wild
Weird
Worthless
Yet useful
Left out in the rain
But hey
That won’t get in my way
I was loved
And afraid
Angry
And lucky
Impatient and heartbroken
Overwhelmed with emotion
So who am I
I’m you
I’m me
But most of all
I’m loved
