Who Am I Poem by Padmavathi Rambhakta

Who Am I

Rating: 1.0

She asked who am I
He said You are half of the sky

Iam the earth that sprout
And I grow the flower gardens said She
Iam the seed he said with pride

Wherever I go
You always follow me
Iam the Sun glowing on your forehead
Iam your entire light too
He said with more pride

What is my existence
She again asked
You are everywhere
But you are nowhere
You are a vacuum without me
He said
***************************************
Suddenly she vanished
He stopped breathing
Day and night
And all are seasons
Looked alike for him
He lost his sleep
He searched for her everywhere
Carrying a bundle of sorrow

One day she appeared suddenly
He was so relieved
And felt so light

She asked again Who am I
He said entire sky is you
And Iam just a dot in it
With tears flowing

She gently laughed
And hugged him warmly
Like a mother
