You And Me Poem by Padmavathi Rambhakta

You And Me

I have beautiful flowers
I have their elegant fragrance
I have umpty number of smiles
I have the vast sky
I have the colourful rainbow
I have many winged birds
Running after the white clouds
I have wonderful books
And many sweet letters
Flowing through them
I have a deep river
And I have a strengthy boat
To conquer it

You have a lonely island
You have plenty of bleeding wounds
You have ponds full of tears
You have darkest nights
Marching in your eyes

But you count your stars
And smile like a flower of everflowing fragrance
I always count my sorrows
And bury all my blessed days
