Who Are You Poem by Amanda Austin

Who Are You

Why is this happening
Why did you change

When I look into your eyes, I don't recognize who I see
When you're screaming at me, it's not your voice I hear

Who have you become, Why is there so much hate
Is it something I did, Is it something I said

Who have you become, Why do you get joy of my tears
Can I change something else to make it all disappear

Why is this happening
Why did you change

What happened to your soft spoken tones
What happened to your warm reassuring touch

Who have you become, Why do you push me around
Is there a way to get away from falling to the ground

Who have you become, Why do you do this to me
How can it be love when all that's left is agony
