Who Ate My Cake Poem by Esmaeil Esbati

Who Ate My Cake

Rating: 5.0

It was my birthday,
a fantastic day of my life,
so many people came to the party,
some did not come,
some I forgot to invite,
some forgot the invitation,
some stuck in the traffic,
some had cold or a fewer the night before, could not wake up easily!
but my nice friends come,
the next day when I reached the office,
the girls said happy birthday,
they had provided a cake,
I asked them to distribute,
keep some or at least a piece for me,
the next day,
when I asked for my piece,
the girl checked the fridge,
somebody had eaten my piece,
I promiced her,
I shall write about it,
who ate my cake?
Was him or her a strenger,
was a cat,
a cow,
a fish,
or..
a girl,
a boy,
my boss...perhaps,
my deputy, may be.
but still I love the piece,
the piece of cake,
a piece of my birthday sweet,
I shall not forget that piece.

Very fantastic, very nice... I did not eat your cake. Believe me. Still I am fast. Some day I should brake my fast. Not with your cake of course.
