Who came to your party?
Some little Pat perhaps, some guy named Arty?
To mine came- i swear thissus true,
To mine came the Tremba's: both Tom and Sue.
Down that bright-lit hall they wheeled;
Like a vision from Araby, or some Elysian Field.
There stood I - all slack-jawed and stiff;
As Sue took my hand, like we was equals, as if.
It left me all breathless,
When those warm -hearted folk, despite being tim-less,
Showed upat my party,
Flew up special, they did, all the way from Floridy!
To mine came-l swear thissus true,
To mine came the Tremba's: both tom and Sue
