Who I Am Poem by Allison McDowell

Rating: 5.0

and I can't finish reading cause the page is torn
they say I'm bright
they say I'm blessed
but everytime I try so hard
It just turns out a mess
when the room is dark
and the light's away
I tell myself it will change someday

Everytime I walk outside

or maybe it's just the teardrops
running down my cheeks
they're coming down
harder and harder
finally, someone seeks...
