Allison McDowell

Popularity isn't everything
it's just what people want
all the boys; all the perks
a life that they can flaunt

Popularity isn't everything
'they' think they're really cool
acting smart; being preps
they really look like fools

Popularity isn't everything
'they' think that they're the best
treating others poorly
being different from the rest

Popularity isn't everything
be who you are
and I know someday; I have no doubt
you'll go very far

Popularity is not a necessity, but a benchmark to indicate your progression in life.
