Who I Am Poem by Ruth Ann Powell

Who I Am

Upon feeling I base my fears, upon emotion I release my tears. I've questionable reason as to who I am, all the strength and weakness of my own demand. I am who I want to be, at times I am who I despise. It's just the very part of me where I balance the tides. Upon distance my heart is strong, upon difference somehow I still belong. I've questionable reason as to where I am, I chose each path with either little time or confusion at hand, all the troubles and joys I've recollected and stamped. Posted them repeatedly into the mind beneath my hat... I have questionable reason as to how my life will end... I know I am my own teacher, learner and friend.
