Who'll Be Wise Enough

Rating: 5.0

The Christian Way, is not a stroll
Sundays, on Tuesday nights
If Heaven truly is one's goal
Prepare for numerous fights

Who, in Christ is afraid of dying?
Where wisdom opens eyes
However harsh devils are trying
Will cause fear, to rise!

Who of us knows, one's day of death?
Despite, obvious alarms
When, or when not, one's final, breath
Will carry to Jesus' arms

Where salvation, lays life's foundation
Love's grace, sustains it through
God's power controlling creation
Covers all, born anew

Obedience, is life's requirement
Commitment, to Love's law
No Christian through retirement
Wanders through Heaven's Door

Oft working with sweat and tears
Suffering pain and scorn
The world itself interferes
With God's servants reborn

Churches are closed, pulpits stand bare
Chairs grow empty and pews
Though falling away seems everywhere
Heaven has different views

The Lord, is this world, wide testing
Who to His Christ will stand?
Who's wise enough, lives now investing
In The Father's Promised Land.....
