Who Was A Thug? Poem by Satish Verma

Who Was A Thug?

Pine pricks in the sun.
You will not come in its shade.
The nemesis looks like a squint.

The delenium in climax
tears the book. The words start
flying away. Only dashes and full stops are left.

Will you concede, God
comes down on earth. You give a
big laugh. He said I am God.
