Who Was 'he' Poem by Sumita Jetley

Who Was 'he'

In Shiraz, where roses whisper tales,
Underneath the moon's soft veil,
Walked Amina, with dreams in her eyes,
Seeking truths, hidden in the skies.

In the garden where nightingales sing,
She met Yusuf, the Sufi king,
Words of wisdom, like rivers, flowed,
As secrets of the universe, he bestowed.

'Hearts like magnets, pull what they seek,
In this cosmic dance, strong or weak,
Your desires, a compass, guiding your soul,
To kindred spirits, making you whole.'

As days to months, gracefully turned,
Amina felt what her heart had yearned,
Souls alike, drawn to her light,
In her world, they shone so bright.

Echoes of affinity, in the starlit night,
A testament of love, beyond mere sight,
For in this universe, vast and wide,
Like finds like, with nowhere to hide.

In Shiraz, where destiny weaves its thread,
Amina's journey, a story, beautifully said,
A dance of souls, in harmony and affection,
Echoes of affinity, a mystical connection.
