Who Will Be My Valentine? Poem by Jessica Jemima

Who Will Be My Valentine?

Who will be my valentine?
And steal this stubborn heart of mine?
Who will be my valentine?
A rose or two? Well that's just fine.

Or maybe yet another year
Goes by and there is no one here
To hear me say 'I love you, dear'
But I will never shed a tear

I do not need him
I won't try
To surrender myself
And slowly die

For love is but a slavery
For those still young like you and me
There is no use there is no gain
But only pointless love and pain

Jaded in Love? yes or no, should say that your poem catched my attention [not just because i was looking for some new poems]. Just dont think that no one loves you okay? because somewhere out there: im sure someone loves you; -)
