When you said 'I love you'
I believed you
When you said 'I miss you'
I said I did too
When you reached out your hand I took it and smiled at you
Why didn't I realize you were too good at this to be new
Why did you do this to me
Did you not know it would tear me apart
All it cost you was words,
But it cost me a part of my heart
