In shadows cast by endless sky, I ask the question 'Why? '
Why do we bear the heavy load of sorrow, pain, and woe?
Why does poverty persist, and hatred in our hearts exist?
Why do jealous eyes so gleam, and wars disrupt the dream?
But hold, let's turn the page, engage a brighter stage,
For hope does bloom amid the strife, in the garden of this life.
Love can heal the wounded soul, make broken spirits whole,
With peace, we find serenity, a balm for all humanity.
Embrace the hand of brotherhood, let kindness be understood,
In unity, we stand so tall, as we answer our own call.
Socialism's gentle grace, a path to mend the human race,
Together we can surely find, the answers to the 'Whys' of humankind.
