Bitter Echoes Poem by Kaleemullah Hussain

Bitter Echoes

Taking long breaths and sighs over this wet shore,
Dawn has arrived, but darkness lingers more.
A heavy heart bears the weight of despair,
In this world of shadows, it's hard to repair.

Tears like raindrops, fall from weary eyes,
The sun may rise, but it's still a lonely morn,
In the depths of sorrow, a heart is torn.

A melancholy tune whispers in the breeze,
Carrying the echoes of lost dreams and pleas.
The world moves on, but I stand still,
Caught in a sadness, too deep to fill.

Each day unfolds, a relentless gray,
In this somber world, I wish to stray.
But hope remains, a faint, distant light,
Guiding me through this never-ending night.
