I find the best way is to be quiet and still for awhile, then to pick up a pen and just write, don't stop for punctuation etc just write. Don't think, you do not have to. Start from the first word that comes and quickly write the others down as they come. You will be surprised all that resonates in your mind will be there. Put what you have written aside, do not read it, then come back to it in a day or two to edit and correct. It is fun. Practice makes perfect.
