Why did the DNA plan make me
The way I now appear to be
And why can the sky be so blue
As clouds float by me too

Why when I feel the sun shining down
I know the warmth is great I have found
Why does the surf feel so good
On a hot summer's day diving in as it should

Why do first born babies smell so fine
It makes you want to stay with them all the time
And the pride you feel in your children always
Will make your heart want to burst away

And the happiness of my dog bouncing at me
That makes me feel better straight away easily
And the air pumping into your lungs
Strengthens me for the work to be done

I know there a plan to everything you see
Done to make everything fit as it should be
Just think as this world spins round
It's all to a beat that I find so sound.
