Why can't you come near me and make me feel
The love you have that are pure and real
Then, gently tuck my hair behind my ear
Staring at my eyes, so dear

Why can't you say, that you love my eyes
Then, whisper in my ear - things that are nice
Sit near me and hold my hands so tight
Let me see things that are out of sight

Why can't you brush my hair with your hands
Then ask me to stand for a dance
We will dance barefoot in the sand
Cherish every moments as if it were our last chance.

Why can't you stop me in my dream
Dreams that are blind and so dim
A terrible nightmare it may seem
Wake me up, kiss my nose and hold my chin.

Why can't you let me hear your voice
Whispering that you love me not like your toys
And tell me, I'm not just a choice
Then, kiss my head and make me feel that you're not like the other boys.

Why I can't find you still?
Been looking for you, my only dear
Why our paths haven't crossed yet by fate
