Why Do Children Die? Version 1 Poem by XxAllanisxX Anderson

Why Do Children Die? Version 1

why do children have to die
why do they have to leave us all behind

lying there in the ground,
wasting away never to be found
fertilizing daisies
your skin is turning gray
your coffin is rotting
and your once sparkiling eyes sink into the back of your head

why do children have to die
why do families have to cry
we miss you
we miss you

Gray i'm thinking of you
Gray i'm thinking of you
gray we all loved you

but in heaven you are now
sleep softly
you say youre ok
youre happier this way
away from this earthly pain
youre no longer insane

gray we miss you
gray we love you
gray dont fly away!

A beautiful poem about death, sad, tragic, yet I sense a desire for hope in it. Accepting death is almost impossible, I believe this poem is truly heartbreaking for anyone who has ever had someone they loved die, but it is a poem beautifully conveyed.
