Why do I love you so much?
It’s not just your eyes, the tranquil lake of heaven,
Nor your eyebrows, the elegant stroke of Vinci,
Nor your mouth, Michelangelo’s masterpiece.
It is your heart,
Kind and pure, confident and strong,
It is your laughter,
Ripple of the clear spring,
Irrigating my arid heart.
