Why Do I Read Your Words On Here? Poem by Patti Masterman

Why Do I Read Your Words On Here?

Why do I read your words on here-
Do your minds stretch me to new frontiers?

Why do I take your confessions to heart-
Could our brain damaged forays be true art?

So take me somewhere I've rarely gone
And sometimes the words might turn into our song.

For we share a wavelength on the cosmic string:
Of all that's forbidden; there's not one thing.

Cast off the bars of the cage that you wear;
Throw away the shackles, we'll take to the air.

I've recently discovered you, and am excited by your gift, and how you share it.If I do someday put my own words on this site, then I can only hope that I will somehow take you to a place where you have rarely gone. I know you are taking me to many of those places. How I would love for you to tell us more about yourself in your biography. Patti, you are someone I really want to know more about, although your writing is revealing in itself...
