Why cant they see
i didnt turn out
the way they wanted me to be
im not that smiley little girl
now i actually deal with
my own world
why cant they stop controlling me?
why dont i just run away
and forever be free
they havent yet discovered
my true inner being
i try to fight
the lies everyone keeps seeing
i dont know why
they cant except me for who i am
this frustration is unbearable
barely able to withstand
i cant wait
until im away from here
no more
'No, not allowed to be that way, dear! '
no more control over who i will be
i will show them
they will see
ive kept this locked up
for so long
never could they tell
they were doing something wrong
everytime i try to tell them
they scream and yell
and say i wont go to heaven
why dont they see me for who i am?
this frustration
i will no longer withstand
