Why I Met You Poem by Jaded Lover

Why I Met You

Some days I wonder why I gave you holler,
but then I remember our first convo about you being a baller.
It all started with a simple hello,
then left me standing there with fluster and aglow.
You seemed shy, maybe even a cynic,
but for some reason we immediately knew this was no gimmick.
You left with what I thought was a closed chapter,
but came back the next day and became my captor.
Little did we know it would develop into this,
a day at the pool ended with an unforgettable kiss.
We soon realized we couldn't get enough,
wanting one another so bad made things ridiculously tough.

Luckily Genesis whispered in my ear,
you better not let that mysterious man disappear.
Through many texts and bantering discussion,
we continually left one another blushin and crushin.
How could we feel so much in such little time,
this crazy long distance fun has now become unbelievably sublime.
Feeling the inability to say a final goodbye,
both guilty for dreaming about our next unpredictable sexual time.

Taking a leap of faith and got on a plane,
took that first step and went against the grain.
Never did I ever expect to feel so much passion,
everything now seemed better than we could have ever imagined.
So quickly once again we had to say goodbye,
feeling the tears begin to well in my eyes.
Told myself this will not be in vain,
I have found a man who has made me believe and feel love again.

No matter our distance or how long apart,
always remained mind to mind, soul to soul, heart to heart.
My turn to experience travelling adventures galore,
promising good intentions to hit the dance floor.
Wound up spending the weekend entangled in your body,
sharing arousing verbals that seemed so bawdy.

Here again our love reached yet another level,
creating lasting memories of love making and revel.
Desires of you fill my mind, awaiting to feel your touch,
wishing you knew firsthand just exactly how much.
Every time I see you we make better love,
you fit me so tight and perfect like a glove.

Your eyes like daggers, they have my number,
dreaming of you always within my slumber.
The moment I met you, seemed so capricious,
now our appetite undeniably vicious.
Taking this chance, oh what a risk
…constantly thinking of you, like I'm trapped in your abyss.
This seems like a chance that comes once in a lifetime,
we have now become one another's favorite pastime.

Waiting for our final eternal hour,
when I can forever have your member and you my flower.
Here I stand feeling underserving of such a selfless, loving man,
I hope I don't ever become his less than.
My undying hope and faith for you ever more,
with one wish that we will continue to love each other to the core.

Wishing for an everlasting love and souls free,
like angels above at such great liberty.
Cherishing the few tangible moments that remain,
until next time my love, we must continue to stay sane.

This is beautiful. It reminds me of a relationship I've had. I only hope to have her again. I love the girl to death lol but it's been so long.
