Why Now? Poem by Jessica Gabanyic

I walked along the river
thinking about the things I have endured,
I held the world in my hands,
Until I fell and let it all slip away,

People said 'only time would tell'
Time had no effect on the things that hurt more,
Where the skies would part there was no rain,
People never knew how hard it was,
They will never know,

And now?
Yeah now things seem to fall apart,
Where one thing goes right,
another breaks apart,

There isn't an end to this,
Where ever I go there is a complex solution
To the simplest Situation,
Why Now?
Because there isn't a better time is there?
