WHY SHOULD WE BE IMMORTAL?

Why should we be immortal?
Who are we, after all?
So many faces and phases
In a life.
So many times and memories-
So much failure and incompleteness.

Our bodies changing with us always
And we sometimes at the end
Brain- damaged and lost
Who are we?
What are we?

God, why did You create us
So incomplete and so failing
And so much worse at the end
Than at the beginning?
