Why The Moon That Lingers In The Universe Resides In The Pond?
Why the breeze sleeks the creeper-like waist
..in the vicinity of the fields?
Is it due to the moving of the mind due to the
..movement of the bangles and blooming of the music?
Why the fish-resembling eyes and both the eyebrows
..Expand widely?
Is it due to the melting of the mind
..with the sweety voice and fruity speech of the girl?
Why the moon that lingers in the universe
..resides in the pond?
Is it due to the melting of the life
..of the lustrous face that is so beautiful?
Will she not think of the excellently cherishing
..Tamil nectar of lyrics and music?
She will get the rejoice in composing
..poems with youthful smile!

***கனிமொழியவள் குரலினிமையில் மனமுருகுவ தாலோ!
வியனுலகினி லுலவிடுமதி குளமுறைவது மேனோ?
***மிகவழகிய வொளிமுகமத னுயிருருகுவ தாலோ!
இயலிசையென வளமிகுதமி ழமுதினைநினை யாளோ?
***இளநகையொடு கவிவனைவதி லவள்சுகமடை வாளே!
