Why? Why?
Was I so far away,
In the sun,
Happy,
But then,
The bad news came,
You've passed on to a better place,
A place where you can watch over me,
As I mourn you,
And ask myself why,
I never got to say goodbye,
To someone that meant so much,
To someone like me,
Love always,
Rest in peace.
I never got to say goodbye to this person, as i was in cyprus. A very emotional poem that came from thre heart
Sadly, grief is a part of life. Your line, 'you have passed on to a better place' is knowledge that can be very comforting. Thanks, a wonderful write Richard
