Why wont you see me?
Why is it you say you want to help,
That you want to see the real me.
Yet when I try to show you, you push me away?
Why do you do this to me.
Why do you say you want to take my pain away.
That you want to make me happy.
Yet you hurt me repeatedly.
I don’t know what to do anymore
I want to trust you still
I want to keep the hope that one day,
Maybe,
Even I can have happiness
Yet deep down I know,
I know that all you will do is keep hurting me.
That slowly you will kill me.
You smile and say you love me,
That you want me to trust you,
That you will heal me.
You get my hopes up then rip my heart out,
Stomp on it then light it on fire and watch it burn.
With a malicious grin on your face
You all watch me writhe and cringe in pain as I die,
Slowly and painfully.
So can I trust you?
Will you really see me now?
And when you finally do see me will you accept me?
Like you’ve always said you would,
Flaws and all.
Will I still be in your heart?
Was I ever in your heart?
