Why You So Serious John? Poem by Nithin Jacob

Why You So Serious John?

Why you so serious John?
Why you so worried my friend?
Running, helping and why have you been so tired?
Sharing, caring and why have you been left alone?
Cheer up my old buddy who used to fetch me drink
Relax and shine on for all the mighty deeds you did
A long time ago and tell me how shall I help you?
Remember when I was a child and cried for food,
Bread and butter for a lonely soul
Oh! Johnny, why you so serious?
Why you so worried my mate?
Sleeping in your grave and not lending my hand
Sleeping in vein and not letting you know that,
I loved you and I was there for you
Why you so serious John?
Why you so worried my friend?
