Why Your Face Disappears? Poem by Satish Verma

Why Your Face Disappears?

Let me think. Death
is your mother? Of life? It feeds you?
You cannot abandon your body without asking?

Think again. Who loves
you in the realm of chaos. The anchor
breaks. Let you swim now?

Socrates teaches you how
to die. Timeless pain tells the truth
You cannot refuse drinking hemlock.
