Do you ever drive in the country?
Look out in the wide open fields
Where herds of cattle are grazing
Way up on the vast rolling hills
They seem to be without a worry
Just eat grass and stroll along
Pretty content with their surroundings
They always seem to belong
I think they visit with one another
Sometimes babies are grouped as one
Taking the weather in stride, of course
Whether rain or the hot blazing sun
They don’t often get in a hurry
After all, tomorrow’s another day
Once in awhile you’ll see them
Running around in their play
I think the lesson we can learn is
To relax as life’s tension builds
As though we’re a cow or a bull
Out in the wide open fields!
